UP Studios are award winning, stylish, open plan, 1200sqft and 900sqft, photography, TV/video studios and event spaces in central London. Housed in a former printworks, ten minutes walk from Angel and Old Street tubes, UP Studios are bright, spacious, and characterful spaces.

STUDIO HIRE

UP Studios are ideal for lifestyle shoots where lots of space is required to accommodate cast and crew.

Unit 10 is perfectly suited for filming benefitting from a single aperture, so blackout is simple and quick for product stills and video. There is a built in ceiling track with LED lights for hire or for use with your own lights. 

Unit 11 is fully furnished and so is more suited to use as a green room to supplement unit 10. In addition to air-conditioning, it has lots of natural light through two large warehouse style windows looking on to our lovely courtyard.

EVENT HIRE

UP Studios provides the ideal space to host your meeting, workshop or off-site. Unit 10 is great for workshops and events where a large open floor area and lots of wall space are required, and our on-site cafe and private canalside garden offer a perfect place to relax.

Great experience, we usually book a smaller cheaper studio but wanted something larger and higher end, this was definitely a big upgrade! The hosts were great and very friendly and helpful. Internet was also very good for our livestream and was seamless, also audio was great with no disturbances. Will definitely book again!

Great studio in a great area; still central but in a nice quiet area that allows you to escape the hustle and bustle and get some real work done. The studio space looks great and is really versatile for all kinds of different shoots. The space is roomy, with great equipment options. Sound and lighting are particularly great in this studio and this allows you to capture professional, good-quality footage. Highly recommended if you ask me!

You can get really top-tier work done here and I would say the prices are extremely reasonable, especially given the high quality of the furniture, amenities, and production equipment. You can save yourself a fortune by hiring this studio with everything already included, rather than trying to hire all your own stuff and drag it around London with you.

Brilliant versatile studio space. Up to date lighting equipment to hire; well sound dampened with good controllable light. As a DP I've been using the space for over four years and I'm always able to find new lighting and framing options for lifestyle work or to construct a neutral setup. No trouble with outside noise so good for sync sound work. Highly recommend.

This is my top recommendation for a lifestyle studio in London. The sets are natural and great quality. Everything inside the studios is well-maintained and up to date. The team who organise and work with the studio are helpful and friendly too, which makes all matters that bit easier.
